Photoshoots & Productions
Stio was founded in 2011, and we launched our first products in the fall of 2012. Since then, I have been involved in all photoshoots and visual productions. In 2018, I took on full ownership of these creative channels as Stio’s Art Director. Over the years, I’ve encountered a wide range of situations and scenarios that continue to evolve how I work and generate strong creative.

Visual Guardrails & Briefs
I set up photoshoot objectives, shot lists, and visual direction through creative briefs for projects we set out to capture. This allows for a style to be met, specific shots to be briefed and to be sure the goals of the project we defined to ensure a successful delivery.
Photography Direction
As Stio’s Art Director, I strive to create images that capture fleeting moments in the day that inspire us and speak to the reasons we play outside. I look for photographers/creatives that offer a new perspective into everyday & epic activities. I want to see a strong understanding of light, composition, athlete form, understanding of location/place/time of day, and knowledge/experience of specific activity. These individuals work in backcountry environments and must understand potential risks, backcountry etiquette, and land use management awareness.
It’s been fun to bring my own life experiences and passions in the outdoors into my daily work.
